The Meaning of Kbach Khun Boran Khmer
The word Kbach Khun in Cambodian language means fighting technique and Boran Khmer means Ancient Khmer. Kbach Kun Boran Khmer was established and originated from Cambodia before the Ankor Temple era in the 6th to10th Century.

Kbach Khun Boran Khmer Forms or Kata
In comparison to Japanese Style Karate, Kbach Khun Boran Khmer does have forms or Kata which are called MAE. Each MAE consists of five steps which include both guard and attack.
There are many philosophy, theory and meanings behind each individual techniques or steps used in each MAE. This way all MAE are easy to understand and those concise steps will not be forgotten.

Long Staff or Dombong Veng: The length should be from your right finger tip all the way to the tip of your left toe.

Once again compare to Japanese Style Karate, Boran Khmer does not have rank or belts on any kind of Dan's. The students are judge by their techniques and knock outs especially on their skills on philosophy.
